On March 18, Yuan Zhuhan, Director of the Qingdao Maritime Safety Administration, and his delegation investigated the fuel supply for international sailing vessels. Guo Baocun and Wang Lei, Deputy Directors of the Administrative Committee of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area (the Area), participated in the investigation activity.
At the symposium, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the development and safety supervision of bonded oil supply business for international sailing vessels, and the construction progress of the intelligent supervision service platform for vessel fuel supply. They also focused on research and discussions regarding the development plan on green fuel bunkering.
Through investigations, research and discussions, Qingdao Maritime Safety Administration and the Area have deeply conducted exchanges regarding the current needs and development trends of bonded fuel bunkering for international sailing vessels, providing a basis for formulating more effective policies and measures. In the future, both sides will further optimize bonded fuel supply services for international-class sailing vessels to continuously promote the international competitiveness of the ports and boost the high-quality economic development in the area.
